Dan Guthrie's new commission Empty Alcove / Rotting Figure opens at Chisenhale Gallery, London. The exhibition presents two newly commissioned videos that put forward the ‘radical un-conservation’ of the Black Boy Clock – a new theoretical concept proposed by Guthrie to describe the acquisition of an object with the express intent to destroy it. The exhibition opened on the 6th of June and ran until the 24th of August 2025.
